HIGHGATE HOUSE
In this mid-century home nestled in the heart of Highgate, the client had recently moved in and was eager to transform the space into something distinctly personal. They wanted it to feel warm, colourful, and luxurious, yet still in conversation with the home's striking modernist architecture.
Balancing the clean lines of the original structure with more playful, tactile elements became the guiding design challenge. That tension, however, brought a layered richness to the interiors. In the dressing room, rustic zellige tiles introduced organic texture, offset by a crisp checkerboard layout. In the bathroom, a fresh, minty blue was paired with a more organic terrazzo, to create this sense of contrast and balance.
Among the most memorable features of the renovation is the bespoke parquet flooring. Meticulously installed by our on-site team, its custom border detailing was carefully mapped to create subtle focal points as it flows through the home.
